MANHATTAN, NY (WTNH) — An energy outage on Saturday nighttime has Consolidated Edison Inc. (ConEd) operating frantically to get recovery to forty-two 000 in parts of midtown Manhattan.
ABC said Times Square billboards and subway offerings were dark, while site visitors’ lighting was also out.
Consolidated Edison Inc, New York City’s energy provider, said in a Twitter publication that it’s miles “responding to full-size outages” on the west of Central Park in Manhattan and miles working to restore electricity to forty-two,000 clients.
At 10:30 p.m. Saturday, ConEd held a press conference to announce that five out of six networks were restored, and they anticipate having the whole thing restored by nighttime.
